Shrimp teaser

THis guy is about 5" long. Anyone ever use them as teasers?

nice!!

i bet if you tied it on a bit beefier hook, and purple or blue, it would kill cod.
im not sure how big that hook is though

live to fish. fish to live. rod tips high.

It's a 3/0 Alec Jackson spey fly hook. 2-1/4" long. Usually tie big salmon flies on them.

that's a good looking shrimp ...everytime I use a teaser an plug I get the bigger of the 2 fish on the teaser an the smaller fish on the plug

BOAT fish do count.

I'd like to toss that on my seven weight in Scorton Creek. I don't think there is a Brown trout there who would not eat it. Very nice, got any on a size 8?

That particular hook goes down to a 7. Also tie some very small ones on Diachi salmon egg hooks. I like them for when the bass are on really small stuff. it's still got a nice hook gap and it's very strong. I'll post a few on the SW board. Don't want to clutter this up to much :-)
