Any updated cod reports?

Stellwagen area?

I spoke to Dave the other day and seen his reports. I spoke to the Cap'n John's people this morning. All signs seem to point to a good time on Saturday.

Anyone else been out recently and getting anything?

It's been hit or miss . . . and I don't mean that as a cliche. Literally they find the fish and sink the boat with haddock one day . . . and the next day lockjaw.

To quote one sharpie "haddock are getting dumber by the day" . . . it's a bait 'n wait kinda thing too . . . which I hate. Real fish eat jigs

I was out last friday and Hammered them!!!
Started out in a school of 3-5 lb fish, but
I moved around a bit and got into much larger fish in the 10 - 20 lb size!!!
I only stayed out a few hrs because my plan was to get my boat up from Green harbor to my slip in Quincy and spend most of the day studying!
I had 2 hrs of non stop hook ups, barely getting my jig down and doubling up!!!
I took home my limit of 10 fish, all around 10 - 20 lbs,
But I released 3 dozen fish, all close to that size!!!
