Good Start

Got out around 12 after the fog lifted, 5 minutes from my marina, I see birds working and breaks. put a storm shad on my new tica and new stradic. second cast BAM !!!! A nice fat 31" covered with sealice. Released that fish and nailed a couple more about the same size. 15 minutes later all went quiet. I headed for deeper water and scored some mackeral and even jigged a couple of cod by accident. didin't get another bass, but i ain't complaining for my first day out. I think if I got out earlier I would have been in those breaking fish for hours, but either way I be happy today.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

I would have called that a Really Good Start or maybe a Great Start. No wait, maybe Good Start is right.

Just kidding - sounds like a great time - congrats.
