ok wer're setting up CHUM line drifting bait and some one anchors in your drift what would do? tell them what's goin on, expect them to relize whast's goin on
or tell tell them 2 f/off and anchor somewhere else?
I would move to within a bumpers distance away from them and continue to chum. As you throw chum over the "pit" of their boat explain how it would make life easier if they would set anchor somewhere else. But then again the other person might be kind of green to the boating world and not realize what he had done, or he (or she) may not care and just be a fisherperson with no scruples.
Try calling them and ask them to move to a side or someplace else that there anchor line is where you're hooks will be. F O might not always work out too well. Sadly there are too many aholes out on the water - saw some Saturday for certain

Yeah ok, but what about the aholes, the come in and anchor up to chum/chunck where you've been successfully drifting for an hour, each drift banging nice bass; only to have some "charta guy" anchor up right in your drift.
and the drift we were working was very short, under 200ft ! and the people who anchored were fishing off to the side of the drift and saw us drifting!!! gerrr i hate them!
