Another Slob

Man, I keep leaving My digital back Home. Here is a 53" 47lb Bass caught by Bob Celico on My boat 3 days ago. Bob is not a small guy at 6'3"! We had quite a few other fish in the 30-37LB Class...

I had a charter the day before who hooked a real slob. He had the fish on for several minutes. I had to back down on the fish, which is usually the case on 40++LB Fish. He ended up getting a headache and had to hand off the rod, His buddy got slack in the line and ended up loosing the fish. I know my equiptment and I know that fish was HUGE! The amount of line it took was very impressive...

no way a paying sport can take a powder.
most complain of good fisherman keeping large fish. now when a wana be
gives up you throw him over board. if he has paid his fair, he is what keeps the bizzness going. i would like to go fish when another pays the tab.
likly he is happy to tell of the one that got away.. something tells me the captn found a good spot to fish when the next sport that came along.
wish it were me

His Headache

Well, it ain't like a lady tellin you she got a headache. This guy could have problems, heart or blood vessels and could have maybe prevented a stroke or heart attack by passing over the line. Give him credit for possibly saving his own life. But his buddy now, loosing the fish, that's grounds for a slap !!
