what would you do??

What would you do if you if the bite has been slow and you have read on the interblab and in magazines that the fishing has been hot in a neighboring state?
I vote # 2....I like my spots

Unless it is December and someone's talking about the better bite in Florida, I don't like to fly around like some crazed bumble bee-looking to score on info from blab and magazines.. I would like to check my local and favorite locations first, just to be sure. If I had unlimited free time , I might just do the "chase helicopter" thing.

#2 or try some new spots I've been scoping out (I guess that would be #3)

Put me down for 2 1/2.

See, I would stay put like you guys and the majority of the guys who have responded but that doesn't seem to be the case with what I saw last night. What is really interesting is that the reports are all at least 24 hours old or older and the fish have fins. They move. I'm betting all the spot jumping nitwits I saw last night got skunked. the fish are moving around right now and the bite has cooled somewhat.

No boat, back in the suds.

I voted number 3 but number 2 also applies......I don't chase yesterdays fishing reports and I don't like fishing in crowds....so I like to find out of the way spots and don't care to what lengths I have to walk to find them!

Slingah is the new poll king!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I always fish in neighboring states, preferably coastal ones.

Frasier: Niles, I’ve just had the most marvelous idea for a website! People will post their opinions, cheeky bon mots, and insights, and others will reply in kind!

Niles: You have met “people”, haven’t you?
