stubborn fish?
I live near a sea wall and every night i can see lots of stripers hitting baitfish but they wont take ant of my offerings...any suggestions?

Net some of the bait fish and send them out on a hook, or shoe string eels work sometimes too.

What BBJ said, and try 1/2 oz crippled herring. I had luck using the 1 oz tin as a booster rocket to deliver teasers into the mix too.

The closer to dark the better they will hit they all seem to be real finicky on the mullet.A small swimmer at rest was the ticket for me.make it act like a injured baitfish every know n then pop it.

thanks alot guys! i just went out and got rig for small baitfish and i also found a tin that looks just like a bunker.will post with results!thanx again!

well i havnt had any luck with the pogies,but i switched up my spot and came across some angry bass!i mean thrashin!only 32"-14 lbs but it definately scratched the itch,for today anyway.  yaaayy! i also caught a nice boat rod and reel!

try dropping to 20 floro for a leader, who knows it may work. if not buy some tnt  sorry
