Lotta work in this wind...
For a single blue...
Haven't seen this kind of sustained wind since that storm this spring. Good thing it really wasn't that cold. Regardless, it felt good to get the old fly rod out for a few casts
Anyone else???

Went out sunday am.
I had time to kill. I expected to get skunked.... and did. Water was mud. Wind sucked.

I apparantly am home at a decent time and will go again.Hope they still there and hopefully some larger ones but as I'm catching something I'm cool.
It wasn't to bad on this side yesterday. With the hill, trees and houses and the slope of the beach I wasn't getting blasted to much by the wind.

If Saturday nite was snotty, then Sunday nite's description involves unpostable expletives. Between the two of us, RRC and I caught 5 stripers within the first half hour of our 6-hour fishing trip. And that's it. It was pretty raw out, with way too much wind to feel anything in the water...or to feel your hands, for that matter. There's a point where it just becomes silly to fish in certain weather...I think we found that point. I'm just glad it wasn't raining.

The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

It was nice to see the diminishing winds yesterday.
Its pretty wild to see how much landscapes change after weather like that.

we were crazy and went out on Saturday early AM. wind driven rain that hurt when it hit your face, despite efforts with the charlie graves tins, we didn't get anything, bass babe, we found that point you are talking about also.

Ya,it was quite a pleasant night.A little on the bright side but the fish didn't seem to mind to much especially the blues.
