Surfster mania continues...retro style
I'M surfster turning freak lately. So since I had the parts and the materials needed I thought..why not?
So I consulted the Creek Chub Collectors guide and found a really cool color combo in the CCBco dip style of painting. Nothing fancy but this is the result. I am happy with it.
Hope you like it!

Love the hook hangers That satin sheen is great. How about a pictorial on hook hangers, I am making some surfsters & would greatly appreciate the info.

Hangers..You take the one bad part of the design and still incorporate it.
Hangers are locking points..Fish throwers..
I used to rewire em to add swivels.I guess if ur not gonna fish em..
They have lots of cool colors in that book..
I used to have this surfster site on my favorites just google it they had everything..

I have that same collecrors guide.. a great study...Fantastic copy there flap!
Love the yellow/black heads, I just recently painted some bottles that same combo... Idea spawned from that book... awesome classics..
hook hangers are nice if you want to custom tune the height of the hook versus the body, I still use them on select plugs.... if your using VMC, those mini gaffs usualy end up embedded in the fish anyway......

Those are great. I have a bunch of surfster lips and have been thinking about trying to make a couple to test. Now I've been inspired!
