Squid plug

Always wanted to try one. This guy's almost 14" long with the tail.
I put .24 onces of lead in the head (tail of the plug) and a small bullet weight just behind the belly hook. Hope she swims okay :-)

Thumbs up

I think that'll do quite nicely!

looks good enough to cut, batter, fry and eat.

Yup. And I hope a big, big bass inhales it.................and breaks your line...............and swims down to Buzzard's Bay...........and rubs it off......and a big NW storm shows up...........and it becomes mine......and, just to be nice about it, you catch a bigger one on your next cast. Works for me.
