more like withdrawl.
there is a huge live striper and re/black drum exhibit at the maritime aquarium in the main tank if you want to get a visual fix.

I have it.....
I might go trout fishing this weekend to help cure it, but once the surf is on your mind, a pond aint gonna cut it.

go down your road to the water, turn left, drive south.. at the un-named salt pond with duck language in the middle of it paddle your kayak out to the center and start jigging a pearl zume fluke. they are there

There is a lot to be depressed about.
As an admitted bassoholic I have gone thru my DT phase for this winter already and now I am in rehab. This consists of attending winter fishing and boating shows. I am further depressed by the fact that this spring when I would normally head to the run to wait for the herring to arrive and BS with similar souls... will not occur this season. This is my first fishing event of the year and it has been taken from me by greedy commerical fisherman and stupid regulators. I am further depressed by the fact that the eel population is also low and fishing with live bait will be limited to scup...but in MA the regulators shut that down last year at the end of August.
All that negative stuff aside...I take great comfort in my stockplining of quality plugs over the years and will fish them alot more this season.

That black gunk is the sediments and gunk that they are dredging out of ninigret pond. The reason why they are dredging is to get more tidal exchange or something like that, maybe RIRockhound can add to it. All i know is that it sends a black organic plume out into the ocean and might, just might draw in some cawd
I was sitting about 3 feet from the tube having a coffee with longshot when they turned the thing on... almost had a friggin heart attack

The day they posted the MSBA details I had my first fishing dream of the winter. You could literally walk on 'em. It was beautiful, even serene. Two rods. One chunk, the other needlefish. They were even kind enough to wait for me to real one in on one rod before hitting the other. Less than 3 months away!!! And until then...
