Red Fist at Mouse Curser?

Sometimes when I click on a website or a link I get a red fist that appears beside my mouse curser, anybody have any idea of what this is?

Do you use Earthlink?

When Earthlink blocks a popup it shows a redfist next to the cursor.

HIT START >accessories> command prompt right click header
to open curser page ... hit defaults button...
basically its a feature that i'm sure you can disable.

when I type in a box or e mail there is a little black line after my text tells me where I am typing well my little line is 1/2 thick how do I set that back to normal.

it'll either be under format
or preferences

generally............

the easiest way: is to look for a
restore defaults button though

but then you might have to
re-do => some other personal
settings, that got set back
from the defaults mode too....
