wow it worked.
this is the one that fell on the floor.
all rattle cans. two coats of rattle can clear.
i'll wire it tomorrow.

give it a try steelhead, I've layered paints, it's a fine line, you can't go to heavy with the black, but, you get some nice subtle hints show thru.. do them all while they are wet
I've done a blurple/gold on needles, with a green/blue haze.. looks like eel skin in the water

I've done it with a silver or gold over a solid color. The solid colors I've found to be harder to control.

freak are you epoxying over the upol or is that the only clear on your plugs? If your only using the spray clear, how does it hold up?

some is laquer some is enamel some is eurethane, some is mystery paint. in my life, time is money, and you only get paid $ to do it once. do-overs suk, not saying RUSH everything as things take time to flash off but heet is a big factor.nothing works in here under 70 degrees including me. wet on wet. dry over dry, dry on topwet over dry, never dry on top of wet. red over silver, never silver over red. silver sux anyway.flouresent orange under pearl white,black over blue,grain needs black to hide. sand to 400 scuff sand with gold scuff pads if you've waited too long, nib no luv me, slip likes me,
work fast, get it done. ship it out, don't %$%$%$%$ it up. looks good, customer happy,i'm happy, paint loves me, i get paid, wife happy.
get it done, 1 hour start to finish, none of this two days to dry stuff.if it works it works if it don't it don't, try again.

i'll tell ya, i don't care. two part epoxy primer/sealer.
look for something that says non-sanding primer sealer and give it a try.
