Truro bay side ORV

I am going to be down there quite a bit this season and the way the outer beaches have been with little to no fish all the time the place is closed due to birds and plenty of mung. I am wondering how much the ORV permit is? and how the fishing is near the Pamet River is?

I think that for non-residents it's 30 dollars. But I won't bet the farm on that. I know that it's very inexpensive compared to National Seashore tags. The Bayside can be very good. It's fishing... Almost forgot, they close for the boids.

Fish the mouth of the Pamet at night with some real light gear. if you wade out be careful of the dropoffs by the mouth of the river though.

TB,

Don't assume that next year will be like last year. Things can change quickly from one season to the next. If you want the best shot at large, although the fishing may be inconsistent at times, stick to what you have been doing. The pamet can be good late may/early june though.

I will do I just thought if I had another option would be good and if it's 30 to 50 bucks it is worth it. I am going to staying on the Pamet River July 8 for the week and thought it would be good to have the pass. I was wondering how the river was for fly fishing.

July 8 may be tough. I wanted to park on the beach for the 4th, but it was closed for plovers. It's an as they nest thing. During the Summer even when it is open it's closed from 9AM to 5PM I think. Ya can't drive the Bayside when the Sunworshipers are out.
