TOP SECRET !!! please don't look ...
I made this needle a while ago ,,see how it does this year .. all tested..Cast very well and comes in spinning.. not trying to be "The Mothers of Invention" but has this been done before ? Please do not copy me or your head will be chopped off with a dull axe while you sleep . thank you.. The handcarves are a 1st ,,(thanks numbskull) Cordell Big O knockoff on top is a winner,,,so sweet,,very Gary2ish.. Next one down is ok .. bottom one that my airbrush puked red all over maybe weighted a little to heavy and flounders around close to the bottom ,,painted for arriving herring..

Hey Lizzy Borden, I can' wait to copy ur neeedle, copy cat.
On the bottom one torque the lip down.
I hate pukey paint.when ever I get fancy it happens little dots like on bunker patterns scare me to death.U paint four colors perfect blends pattern is perfect u go to do the dots an PUKE SPPPLLLAAATTT AAAAAAA.Very nerve racking.Paint around the eyes is ok cause I can shoot from the center of the eye out to get the feel right. But dots make me nervous.sometimes If it come out really nice I just say F' it an leave em out.

I got to get going, you're gaining fast. Just imagine where you'd be if you didn't spend so much time in the bathroom these days.

NIB, in the picture of my fat Dannies last week, the Mackerel thats a day behind the others was first a Pogie. Then I F'd up the dots on the last stinkin dot, got all blotchy. I got so annoyed trying to do them clean I changed it to a mac pattern..
Tagger, sweet hand carves.
I dig what your doing with the flaptails, similar to your plugfest darter. I'm wondering if theres a way to attach it to either a swivel or a hanger right off the thru wire? When I start needles next week I may give something like that a try.

good eye my man .. The wire hanging is thru wired ,,,has a loop on it just like a hanger.. sure,,, you can drop a wire anywhere you'd like..

if you have a siphon feed brush you can give this a try for painting spots.hook up your bottle or thimbal and shoot some paint through it.then pull off it off so you only have the paint that's in the bush itself.give the brush a good blast or two into your back stop.then paint your spots.there will still be enough paint in the gun to make several spots, but since it's not a continual feed, the paint, and spots will come out softer looking, and you'll have less of a chance of splattering,or blasting to much paint out onto the plug.

Tony nice squid darter,, I see your going hangers to avoid splittage .. Only problem I had doing that is not waiting until the plug was totally dry inside. I think my sealer was still tacky in there, causing my finish to pucker up and wrinkle,, not right away , I'm not giving up on it ,just wondering with a totally sealed up plug if it be better to go back to a urethane sealer.. something that dries hard .. I love/hate darters...

Very NICE Edd
You know what I like
I have a few of them myself that are almost ready. How did your weight s work out on them.Just looking at the picture and the tie placement,I think they must swim the balls. That bottom handcarve, what did it do in the water???
Ther has been so talk about copying but the O is aplastic plug which is a LONG WAY from a wood version in action and size. You should do quite well with them.

thanks Gary .. the bloody gill one I put a 00 shot in the belly and I think it might be too much .. It does not swim on the surface ,,it comes in on the bottom. Just playing with I was pulling the rod down and the lip was digging in the bottom and tossing sand up .. That maybe good,,not sure yet.. if it is I did it on purpose ..

Ho of the year by slingah on that one. Slingah doesn't catch any fish, if I got a hold of it on the other hand.
