They're Back!!!! Cape Report
Just thought we would let you all know, BC & I went south today.
We stopped at the Bourne Herring Run this AM and yes there are herring and alwife in the run. Not alot but they are here.
We proceded to hit a few fishing holes and came up with 45 very bright, covered with sea lice, Striped little fishies. Had 8 double headers between us. All caught on pearl Queen coccaho shads, and Chartreus curly tails on a 3/8 oz jig head.
LIFE IS GOOD AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRING IT ON!!!!
Get out there boys and girls they are definatley around.

Long time waiting for that first fish , bet you feel better now. Glad you guys had a good day. I've been fishing the freshwater lakes, but I'm itching to get back to the striped variety and seriously thinking about a return trip to the river. Things should be hopping down there now and now that I have a new outboard.
Anyone interested? I on the fence, but could easily be perswaded to go after the striped ones.

MikeCC, Well I gotta tell ya I never caught up to him, but thats ok, it won't happen again. LOL Biggest was about 20 inches, lotta small ones, but it just doesn't matter as long as something is pulling the other way. Thanks for the info!!! We went and checked that spot out you told us about. Looks pretty good, but there was no water when we got there. We will give that another try this weekend as it looks pretty fishy to me!!!
SwampRatt, Where ya been, still haven't heard from your buddy. Things are starting to happen, hope you have your gear ready.
GS, Felt reeeeeeel goooood, I think its time to give up that fresh stuff!!! How are you feeling, better I hope.
JohnR, I heard the West wall went off real big the other day, any truth to this??????????
Slip, time to break in that new Loomis!!!
