How I spent my Saturday

I spent the morning buffing my boat, allong with help from Mike (Fishingfreak)
Thanks again Mike !!!
Then I continued doing a modification to my boat that I started last night.
Going to make the boat more wide open and easier to move around!
Going to finish the job tomorrow, making a new door jamb and 2 new bi/fold doors!

Ronnie,

Did you rip the outside steering station out? Are you going to put it back?

I did the same today, sanded the bottom and compound the hull. Hopefully tomorrow,, get a coat of wax on the hull if the temps allow and do a little electrical work. I am expecting to launch on the 28th if all goes well.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

No Dave,
The heating bill is up because your brother in law who lives near you,
likes the shop HOT all the time.
I'm the polar bear who likes it cold , just ask him !!!

Will you leave it open all year? You could always snap in a plastic curtain

thats why they call it fishing not catching

Here is an update of my project
The pic only shows the door jamb done.
I have the left part of the new door hung now, but didn't take another pic.
I'll finish hanging the 2nd door to the 1st door, cut in the windows and then post another finished pic.

Going to jig like I allways do.
Let out my wire to the dacron, lay the rod down, wrap the dacron aroung my hand and jig by hand.
I very rarely jig with the rod.
I like the feeling of my arm feeling like it's going to get ripped off when a good fish hits my jig !!!

Ronnie,

Nice work!

Did you build that door and frame yourself out of starboard or something like that or did you purchase it premade from Parker?
