Saturday - Cleaning the garage, which is a semi-annual event. - Over the course of a few months, my tools and fishing equipment disperse to every inch of real estate in the garage and the wife likes to reclaim her areas (she stores her work "paraphernalia" in there as well).

Sunday - Head to the beach with the family. The daughter and I will hide from the sun under an umbrella, while the wife lathers up in baby-oil.

Fishing when the sun goes down.

This weekend? I'm doing everything in my power for me and my 10 year old daughter to be packed and ready to leave the second school ends next week and head north to hang out for a few days in very close proximity to the bridge you can't fish on which crosses the river some claim is Bassless. My wife took off on us Wednesday morning and it's been sort of a rough end of the week. We just need to kick back and cast around for a few days, ingest a few bushels of steamers, win big at Keno, maybe hit the Blessing of the Fleet, get the old ouse ready for return trips, and finally head back for the wife's return from Germany. Oh, when I said took off you thought.....ha ha. Sorry, Rick/Mikey we'll miss ya by a day.

I'll be fishing CCB tomorrow. Wish I'd have know about the cookout before making those plans but I've been a little distracted lately.

One of my 2006 goals is to put some time into fishing CCB (from a boat). I have a game plan that starts in Barnstable, but that area is new water to me. If anyone would like to give me a heads up about current conditions via a PM, it would be appreciated.

Best regards,
Roger

My daughters Fastpitch softball tourney in Franklin CT all weekend. Great way to spend Fathers Day weekend watching my 16 year old play some ball. Might fish a little Sunday evening/night.

Happy Fathers Day!

Dance recital and baseball games on Saturday. Taking the family to the beach on Sunday. Since it's Father's Day and it's my choice, it might be north to Kennebunkport with kayaks and fishing gear.
