Ande Backcountry ?
it's time for a new spool of line, so I'm just curious on your field-tested results on Ande Backcountry ?
I plan on using this primarily on conventional reels.
Thanks

I'm a new user this year based on reports of others. I've used it to catch bonefish, bass and bluefish with both spinning and conventional gear. I like it very much. It casts very well from and Abu 6500 and Shimano Calcutta 400.
The 6500 holds 200 yds of 15# and the Calcutta holds 190 of 20#.

Best regards,
Roger

Best mono line there is...Its all we use and have no problems it exels around rocks due to the awesome abrasion resistance, casts fantastic on conventional tackle and spinning, no memory etc... Use it you'll like it

Is there a sponsor that carries it? I would lie to give it a try.

Love-Hate Relationship
Have gone exclusively to the 20# BC. I absolutely love it on my conventional Penn 525. Almost backlash free. I'm having a terrible time with wind knots on my Penn 6500SS spinner.
Same with the 12# on a lighter Quantum spinner.
Maybe it's me, but it's driving me nuts.

All.
After trying several Abu conventional reels with a variety of Braids/monos, I've decided to use mono on my conventionals and I plan to give the Ande Back Country a try.
Thanks again

Right now, mike cc only has a one pound spool of 40# BC. He had some 20 and 25 in one pound spools but deys all gone--two are in my basement right now.
But, he might be able to order some for you.
I know steve and #^^^^^^& were trying to convice Red Top into carrying it

I have it in bulk spools, but not in smaller spools. Only 20 and 25# right now.

I find the larger spools have less of a roll set and fewer wind knot problems.
