turning chisels
not enough time to spin wood anymore.. so here it goes.. the list may be a bit incomplete but as i get an inventory i'll post it here..
1-1/4 crown roughing chisel.. nearly new shape
1/2 sorby spindlemaster, nearly new..
1-1/4 sorby gouge.. (not really a rougher.. but a nice gouge anyway.. very old.. )
set craftsman chisels,, 4 , 3/4 gouge, 1" skew, 5/8 round nose, and standard parting tool..
set of 4 mini chisels from harbor freight.. lightweight.. but hold a good edge if you..
i also have a 12" long tool rest with 5/8" shaft (attn jet owners)
may be more stuff coming.. i know i have a bunch of big machinest calipers..
and other odds and ends..
will consider trades (nice tying vise, and or rod and reel combos..)
thanks for looking.. as i said i'll get more updated info as time allows..

Dad;
Those tool rests with a 5/8 post are almost impossible to find. I had to have mine custom made. Buy it!!!!!!!
Crash; I would like to have the Sorby spindlemaster. Let me know the price. The dadfisherman gets first dibs on the toolrest.

i'd be very interested if you had a pair of digital calipers. i need a pair bad, but i don't really want to order one online. i'd also like to hop in line for the toolrest if charleston and dadfisherman pass on it. just let me know about those two.
-- if i am doing something wrong by posting here as a new member then i would understand completely. i know that that is the rule over at sol, but i would like to reasure anyone that thinks i'm here just to buy stuff and leave, that i am actually here to stay. i contribute a good amount at sol and i plan on contributing just as much here. thanks
