Whole Bunker or Chunks

I posted this in the other forum, but forgot that this would be a better place, since fishing from a boat. Whole DEAD Bunker, or chunks ? Mackerel ?

chunks.
1 for the hook.
the other 3 pieces over the side for the slick.

can you used that theory for all bait fish?

to piggy back that question..how long do you wait before you throw more over for your slick?

any bait works.
chum heavy, four or five pieces every 20-30 seconds and don't stop/forget when you hook up to keep chumming.
a 5 gallon bucket pre-cut will last the best part of a tide.

what about a chum bag? can you lower how much you put out and how often if you have a bag of frozen chum in the water?

ive tryed a couple chum slicks this year with not much success... of course i didn't fish a full tide...maybe just 2-3hours.

i don't chum, that brings in the doggs. you got to feed them or they won't stick arround long. keep chunkin and pick them off one/two at a time.
