most everyone went back on the 4:00 boat and are still on their way home.

I went home with my friend and got home in time to fall asleep during some of the Pats game

I'm sure there will be a report thread soon Larry. Clammer took lots of pics, and I'm sure others did too. I don't have any pics of any fish I caught but I have other's but won't post them unless they give me permission, don't wanna start any pissing contests.

I love that island, just find it difficult to catch many fish on plugs once that moon got up high.
next time I go it will be dark and I'll have a better plan.

Plugs and eels both worked but once the moon came up it seemed they only wanted eels. A few fish were taken on spooks and pencils under the bright moon but that's it.

I had fun and the company was great. Got too meet a bunch of guys for the first time. Came home with some new plugs and knowledge.

Here's my report Bigfish...

I'm not so sure I'd do that again with that group.... very disappointed in the trip. Some guys were drinking alcohol during most of the trip,,others were sabatoging food with sand, I saw it twice!! ...seemed like if you weren't in the right click,,, you were either ignored or got picked on. ...and I thought clammer was only an A**hole online... I even saw a guy doing ballet with a fly-rod in the middle of the lawn, these guys were wasted! Not what I expected at all.

..at least #^&#^&#^&#^& was nice to me

Fishing was fair,,, Saw a 48#er caught on a surf rod, 2 casts later another 40#er....always nice seeing a BIG fish caught on a surf rod. Personally, I was only targeting smaller fish, and my plan worked flawlessly.

..P/S...Bigfish I saw that plug you had hanging on the picture, it was really nice.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I think that some of you don't know a Tounge IN Cheek Bloocrab report.

I just got a call from someone asking if this stuff was true, lots of drinking, food dropped in the sand, and if Bloo was picking on Clammer unnecessarily... Well, picking on Clammer is necessary ....

No, it was a great trip, even if Budweiser isn't just for breakfast anymore

Another excellent trip. Always great to introduce folks to a place like Cutty for their first time, to get together with friends met on this board, who share our common passion, and to know that with every cast you have the chance at a fish of your dreams. Great to have the original crew together again and to meet new face, Bob Hubbard. Specialist, you were missed. Big moon might as well have been an on/off switch.... Goose, milo, and Gilly once again put up a benchmark for us all, great smart fishing.

If fishing Cuttyhunk on boat or shore were easy, it wouldn't hold the mystique that brings me back with great anticipation. It can be hard fishing, which combined with hardcore fishermen, at a place like the Fishing Club, can't help but make for a great time.

For folks wondering about Bloo's report, try scrolling through some of his old posts....if you find a serious one, let me know...
As far as reports of imbibing, if there was two thirty packs consumed between eighteen guys, that would be on the high end. We were there to fish....and chit on one another

No trophy for me this year, eight or nine fish, most in the 28-32 inch range. Many on teaser....not what I would have thought, but that's how it goes sometimes. I chose to plug vs slinging eels. My choice.

The club was awesome. Had the place to ourselves, which made for 24/7 fishing getaway. That was the plan. Mission accomplished from my seat. That we got fish was just icing on the cake.

Thanks guys.
