Any luck ?
I hunted beartown zone 3 Mon/Tues no luck lots of sign...
The ground fog was thick at times air temps in the high 50s
I was surprised to see a large clear cut in the state forest
The first pic I know is deer but the second I think was bear ??
I'm thinking of going down Freetown in the AM anyone get anything down that way??
Frank.

I hunted a new place in Middleborough today, I saw the ass end of one at about 100yds, it was too noisy with all the dripping off the trees to hear anything. Lots of shots around, went back this afternoon and saw nothing. Heading back at o darkthirty.

Got 2 today.
First was a 115 lb spike. droped him right away. I did not move when I saw him go down .
15 min later a 122 lb doe walked up she almost had to step over the spike horn. not bad for being in the woods for 1 hour

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

i've been experimenting with some fresh squeezed doe in heat pee (from a local deer farm) ... no preservatives.
the stuff works like gangbusters ... not unusual to wake up to 6 or more does in my backyard and 1-2 bucks going at it.
plenty of opportunities, just haven't settled on a size i'm happy with.
want to avoid shooting button bucks this year, and I have all of Dec and Jan to kill several does (we get bonus doe tags too every time we weigh one in).

Six does with the bow now three in N.Y. three in Mass. Took a very large doe Tue afternoon with the new Benelli shotgun and a spike this afternoon also with the shotgun. Took the spike at 60 yards he was limping and I could see his right back leg was broken at the foot. Must have been hit by a car in the last few days. Mike I shot the large doe at 190 to 200 yards using the Winchester partitiongold supreme sabot slug. I zeroed in the gun at 50 yards then 100 and found little drop or change. The shot I took was across two of my back feilds wide open with nothinbg in the way. She dropped and never moved. I love this new gun and when they say it will shoot 200 yards with the right slug they are not kidding.

Greg my friends love their Benellis. but unless ther are cleaned often they are having jams. another has broken a part to do with the ejection spring down in the stock of the gun.
I would still like to get one but it's hard to pass it off on the wife when I'm shooting 2-3 deer a year with my 1952 Browning A-5.
