I definitely believe someone from the government would say that.

Maybe we should pollute the drinking water. That way many more people will die young and that will save medicare and Social Security expenses!

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.

hey PETA look what the government is doing to help save the fishes from us fishers . Typical government do as we say not as we do . They must be experimenting to see what causes sores and 3rd eyes on fish or as in the Thames crooked fish . At what point do we walk up to the government and say " YOUR FIRED " ! They must think we were all born from their test subjects ! We need to see what LSD does to men going off to fight a war " WHY" and what does nuclear blasts do to people at various distances " WHY" . If we leave trash in space does ever fall back to earth . Man I hate politicians , Ive rarely run across a polititian fisherman kinda like an honest one , they dont exist and those that are out there dont get far in our system .

Did I just type all that ? I know this : its more than one thought process typed !

you have to understand the kind of people that work in gov't that write reports like that... I am not surprised.

Remember, these are the same people that brought you the "inertial impact device"...a 400 dollar hammer you could by at home depot for 10 bucks.

If anything, it makes a case why everyone should think about who they vote for.

"To suggest that toxic sludge is good for fish because it prevents them from being caught by man is like suggesting that we club baby seals to death to prevent them from being eaten by sharks. It's ludicrous," said Rep. George P. Radanovich, California Republican and chairman of the subcommittee on national parks, recreation and public lands.
"This is one of the most frightening examples of bureaucratic ineptitude and backward logic I have ever seen," Mr. Radanovich said.

...one of the few politicians who fish??...

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

What a load of BS. I wonder if the toxi sludge hurts the fisherman that is pi$$ed off and jumps into the water to retreive the fishing rod he threw in when he was tweaked that the fish don't bite there anymore...
