I just got off the phone with Smokey, he was able to visit with Mike at the hospital yesterday for a little while. Mike is doing a lot better now and is out of the ICU. He's sore and being constantly monitored but he is in good spirits and even joked about hitting the ditch a week from tomorrow
.
He was also very happy and appreciative of the support he's received from everyone. Smokey said he seemed a little suprised by the volume of thoughts & prayers he recieved...
I hope to see him tomorrow (feeling a little crappy today but I might head up later today).
