Time out

I flipped out. Sue me. That being said I realize I did ask the question, what I responded to, in haste and could have used better judgement, was the perception that was put forward that an entity that I have great pride in and have been part of from the very first issue and now TV, was coming to film S-B.com's Plugfest to make a big juicy profit, which is non sense. I asked them, no one approched me.

I reacted immaturely and for that apologize, I will however, not apologize for my defense of OTW. Those guys are old friends, way before the magazines inception, and still are good friends who work hard to bring you all a great product that is aimed specifically at what we love, fishing.

My comments on Salty's posting were in haste as well but I do beleive that credit should be given to where credit is due. The one thing about Scott's line of plugs, and much to his credit, was that most of the designs were different than other builders. A Polaris is a Polaris and a bottle plug is a bottle plug, both Gibbs original designs, why not just call them that, the name has no trademark or patent? You all know how I feel about anything Gibbs, maybe that's a fault to be that loyal. He has been good to this site and to me personally and should not have been criticized as he was.

Why some try to see more in something then was ever there I will not ever understand. I was simply trying to acknowledge all the participants in the celebration of the art of plug making and the collectors of the art's past and present.

Via Con Dios

Why even try.........
