Firemen Battle Blaze, Naked Owner With Marker on Himself Picks Fight

57-year-old Darrell Moss is in fair condition after suffering smoke inhalation at his house when it caught on fire Wednesday night, causing $75,000 in damages. When firefighters arrived, they found Moss outside lighting a fire next to his house.

When personnel attempted to move him away from the house - which had ammunition going off inside - he wouldn't cooperate, and began to fight with police. He was also naked with red marker all over himself, one a drawing of a heart with an arrow.

They had to strap him to a backboard to control him, and continued his combative behavior with hospital staff. It is still unclear what started the fire. Moss has been treated recently for mental problems. He will not be charged for the fire.
