double trouble
I rec'd some awesome but very scary news on Wednesday. With all the bad stuff happening in our community, here's some good news.
My wife is pregnant. In itself, great but not earth-shattering news... the number of babies in there... that's the surprise.
She had an ultrasound and they found two healthy critters in there. On separate chords and in separate sacks, which I understand is very good. We have no twins in our direct family lines and we weren't on any fertility drugs, so its pretty shocking to us. We're both in space right now thinkin' how cool it is, but also scared @#*#less.
Anyway, thought I'd pass on some fun news.
Not sure what this will do to my fishing schedule next season... and boy am I glad I didn't overdo the boat thing, or I'd putting this up in the classifieds with "boat for sale"
Have fantastic weekends everyone and see some of you on Saturday for the Mass leg.

Might dip into your fishing schedule next year but if the kids get interested in fishing you might get some points for taking care of the kids when you actually are taking them fishing.

Congratulations from Kelly and I. We may take a drive on Saturday and happen to end up in Wareham to see you all. All depends on how she is feeling. Get your fishing in NOW.

Thanks folks... very good to hear from you Saltheart. Hope you're takin' it easy and things are ok.
We'll miss you this weekend.
As for the bigger house and bigger boat, if I had either, I'd be sellin' the other... I was sittin' in the boat last night contemplating everything (life, etc) when I realized I was pretty lucky I'd gone conservative with the boat... things are gonna be tight for awhile and that woulda been the first thing to go.
Hey, its worth it and we'll survive, all that really matters to me is that everyone's healthy... but I think my little florida expiditions and other planned fishing adventures are done for awhile.
Luckily, we have "ok" fishing around here. And my daughter will just have to start crewing my boat next year. I'm sure I'll be able to get out plenty if I take her with me. Leaving Karen with the ....
TWINS???
Wow, I still can't believe it.
So, if my posts don't make any sense for a couple weeks (less than usual), you'll understand why

Wish I'd seen this post before now or I would have taken you aside this afternoon and given you a long talk about where babies come from and that certain activities have results that can alter our lives radically . Looks like your going to have your hands full, both of them I guess, better get your fishing fix this year. Congrats and good luck.
ps: How do you do on just a couple hours sleep?

Hehehehe..... Twins. I think you'll need to start another addition just as the paint on the first is now drying ...
I Had to button my lip on this for a few days until Greg's wife could suprise my wife with the news (they're good friends). The sad thing is, that's the only thing I didn't get in trouble for this weekend
