Listened on the radio and he sounded pretty good, the first wasnt too impressive but the rest seemed pretty good. The hype is only going to get bigger.

It was a pleasure watching him work. He has major league stuff for sure. An explosive rising fastball and very nasty breaking pitches.

It is going to be interesting for sure. I don't like the new guy doing the radio though. Going to take some getting used to. Joe C. is still there but the new voice doesn't seem right. p.

The thing that impressed me the most was how many strikes he throws. He's very accurate, great control. And his breaking stuff is sharp not those lollipops half these other guys toss up there.

Its just one game......and against a team that lost more than 100 games last year! You are right though Dave....he has great command of his pitches! As Eckersley said.....he is a pitcher more than a thrower! I am eager to see more of him!
