Older Gibbs Lures
Any estimates to older Gibbs 2 Ounce Casting Swimmers from the 70's? Still in packaging?
The packaging is intact and unopened. The logo portion of the packaging does show some discoloring due to age but the packaging and lures are otherwise in fine shape.
If anyone is interested in giving me a rough figure I have access to between 4 and 12 of these.
The packaging is not Sagamore, Bellirca, or RI - no address is on these.

Depends on the colors. I've seen them go for 15 bux up to 50 bux.

Two ounce Gibbs bottle from 70's in package, if not some outrageous rare color 30-50 bucks. ( more commonly near the low end) The one way you can be sure it's from the seventies is the Eagle Claw hooks and brass through wires and SS wires were used then ( brass was being phased out).

I'll get some pics and throw them up. What would be considered odd colors?

Nope, got some Stan, who was working now and then to help John made for commercial sale, with brass wire in 81/82.

Bruce told me they stopped using it 73 because the brass was snapping on the tail wraps almost taking eyes out...switched to sst..maybe after Bruce left a few got wrapped in left over brass wire.
