We took fish with a few keepers mixed in at a southern beach. They were loving topwater and came in spurts. 10 minutes non-stop action then 10 nothing all morning. We left to try another spot with the same results. There are large around; one of our members was on them good but wasnt with us. A lot of bait showing itself. We will be at that area tomorrow to see if we can put a good one on the sand.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

tough on south beach, wind did not cooperate. ive been travelling along the beach with zero luck so far. western wind seems to push everything right on past the straight shorline.

Bigger fish showed yesterday and were cooperartive to say the least. Same tides and offerings as in the past. Schoolies were getting bigger. Keepers in the mix at a better ratio than last week. It still hasnt busted wide open yet. Soon though.
