Heading down to the ditch

Heading down to the ditch in a few. I'll most likely be in the vicinity of the herring run. Say hello if you see me. I am 5'6" with a black hooded sweatshirt.

Not good this morning. I did manage a 14" schoolie, but that was it. One small break of small schoolies hit a pod of Herring (I think) at about 5 am, other than that, nothing....Not many people out fishing either, didn't see anyone else hook up either, did here some yelling on the other side, but not sure if it was for a catch.

I thought bass usually feed pre storm? I don't know, just trying to apply my freshwater logic to salt, probably very dissimilar, they seemed to be in deeper water today.

I fished at 10:30 this morning, i believe it was supposed to turn east at that time, and I didn't do anything.

60 % of the time, it works every time.

I fished the rocks at Scusset at 6:00 am.-7:30 a.m. Nothing at all; Fishing at West Dennis Beach was excellent Sat. a.m. and even better Friday night. 34" bluefish--no bass. All on 6" pencils, and mag-mouth poppers--I live for top water stuff. Also tried a squid plug I make --held up pretty well, considering the size of the blues.
