Kids+scup=good times

I took my son fishing on Saturday outside and inside Waquoit bay, he's only going to be four the at the end of September, so this had lots of potential to be a nightmare. Luckily the seas were not to rough and the scup were hungry.
Using small bits of squid, a porgy/scup 2 hook rig and 1oz weight, we fished from the red bell bouy out side of waquoit and drifted past the breakwater, we got a 1/2 dozen scup and a small sea bass.
Then we cruised into the bay and beached the boat along side the other beached boats. I threw out the same rig and we caught a 20"striper, a 20"fluke and another scup.
Hands down this was best day fishing I've had since I've owned my boat.
