Smile for anyone interested........

If the wind gods allow there is some very fine flyfishing along the Cpae Cod Bay shores by boat. On the flats from Sandy Neck to Wellfleet and everywhere in between the northeast blow has delivered a smorgasbord of bait from sand eels to larval crab and plankton blooms that draw the baitfish in to dine and be dined upon.

Yesterday at an UDL in my skiff I took many bass on Clousers and Hi-Ties with my new Sage FLI 8WT up to 23 pounds/42 inches long. That fish took a size 1 Chart/white Clouser on a ten pound tippet in two feet of water and went 100 plus yards on the first run. I had several in the 36 inch range. Incoming is the best tide.

Now I have to try my new Orvis TLS/POWER MATRIX Tip Flex 9.5 8wt. ( I love 8wts and own four now)

Watch the weather and the first sunny calm day you can get, go!!!!!

Why even try.........
