I am heading up North to Maine this weekend. How has the action been? Not looking for specific spot info... I will probably be in the Bath / Harpswell area. What has been working the best... plugs / bait? PM's welcome... thanks for your help!

Massive schools of bunker traveling from the mouth and inside the York to Biddeford and back down again, find the bunker and the big fish are with them. Black and purple needles at night and Dannies in white, needles in white. teasers solid white and black and white. had good luck with black red gills as well this past weekend

Domination takes full concentration..

3 and 4" Storm swim shads in white, blue or blue-gray always work for me in Harpswell Sound.

Thanks for the tips! I have tons of lures / plugs to throw so this is good feedback. I am also going to have a newbie with me. Are mack / bunker chunks working? Does the bait shop at Cooks Corner in Brunswick carry anything fresh? If not is there any other place in the area that does? Thanks again!

I have fished the Wells area.
Bait fish you could walk on they were so heavy.
Nailed one small striper. Got some small hits. Lines got severed twice in a 5 minute period...Blues?
Other than that Nothing.
Fished from a bridge and with Herring. Threw some black/silver plugs.

Good luck and let us know how you did.

drumaps,
I was told yesterday that the pictures of a 51 and 49lber were hanging at Suds and Soda in Greenland.
Both fish were taken in the Merrimack on the same day by the same angler.
I wonder if we are talking about the same fish?
Regardless, if they are true, then it was an awesome time for someone.
