I was there on Friday they wieghed in a few fish when I was there the biggest one was a 596lb Thresher shark it was pretty cool they should of had it set up different so more people could get closer, alot of people there you couldnt see to good , it was a good time any way..they cut them open on the dock so that was cool.. a marine biologist does a halfass autopsy on them .. I would go again fun for the kids.. moosh

I think he was Mrs. Kitner's only son...I'm guessing that's why she was so pissed at Marty.
Guessing, only guessing.

I know of a few guys from this site that fished it, maybe they will want to tell their stories!
Friday, the weather was pretty snotty!
Team "Provider" took 1st place with 2 300+lb threshers
Damon Sacco (Castafari) took 2nd with a Huge 500+lb thresher (biggest fish of the tournament and a new Ma state record)

Thresher shark is pretty good especially the belly meat. We staked up our 414 from the tournament yesterday and I put some on the grill last night. It tasts pretty close to mako and they don't urinate through their skin like many other sharks so no you don't have to soak them in milk.
