high low rig

are the high low rigs as good as ive been reading about any one have any luck with these fishing from shore ive been using the fish finder with a 8/0 octopus circle but i would like to try something better is it a waste of time or should i give it a shot

ahhh.what times the bait store open?'

It depends on what you are using (size)....small baits yea you can use hi lo rig(worms , sand eels)...But cant do this with large stuff

I use them almost exclusively when chunking from the beach. And you CAN use them with larger chunk bait such as mackeral or pogey.

But tie them yourself.....don't trust the strore bought knots.....

thanks for the info i was looking for a rig i could cast with the least resistance the weight in the front of the bait should get me out past the third wave i like the fish finder rig but doesnt cast as far as id like plus i like the advantage of the two hooks but i was concerned that to much gear in the water would spook the fish well ill give it a shot i riged a couple up last night ill try them tonight to make sure they work ok before the tournement thanks again,ron s.
