Thumbs up Girls Day!!!! YEE HAA

Well today Pam and I finally got out to play for a day, we have been trying to put a girls day together for a while now but we have been flat out the last 18 days with charters. Well we hammered the fish today. We caugth well over 20 Stripers, smallest fish was 25 lb largest fish which I was lucky to get was 35 lbs and also got a 33lber next fish on the line!!!!!

It was an awesome day as we stayed in the same area for 5-6 hours on the same pod of bait and fish, hiding in the fog and doubled up probably at least 7 times with big bassies.

We had a freakin ball, We have not had fishing like this in the harbor for over 20 years. We are far from over as there is still a ton of bait showing up and big bassies as well as huge bluefish. I can't get the pictures from today to shrink and post them here but you can see them on our site at www.billandjulsfishing.com in the photo section.

You can see by the dates on the pictures that it has been all big fish all the time. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!!

Now go get um!!!!

Fishing with Bill and Juls is a great time and right now is the best all season...get out there.....

Juls..
Glad you and Pam had a good one. Tom and I were also hiding in the fog and did equally well. Awesome sight watching those BIG bass slamming bait. Good thing was the quiet and fog kept the bait and fish up all day. It was NON-STOP even at slack..We finally left out of shear exhaustion,,,and i needed fuel
Never in my life did i think i would be releasing 30+ lb bass cause they were too small !!!!!!!!!! Today ranked with some of the best fishing days I ever had. (Maybe it was the best)... Please let it last another week or more,.......

Thumbs up What a day

As I was on my way to work today, riding the shuttle, I broke out in a big smile. I hope no one was watching ,but I just couldn't help myself. The memories of our trip yesterday just keep creeping back to me. I never thought I would see the day that I would be throwing back multiple 25 pounders. What an incredible experience! I hope everyone can someday hear their fishing buddy say "I can't get her in the net, she won't fit" ,as they are fighting their own fish. Yesterday will carry me thru many a long winters day. I hope you all are out there building these kinds of memories. Thanks Jules It was a day to remember.

Thanks Gang, Yes it is just incredible right now, today we did it again 18 Bass and around 8 blues some up to 12 lbs some huge choppers out there right now, the bass today averaged around 20 - 28 lbs, did have one bass around 16 lbs that ended up with the freakin pogie stuck in his mouth. LOL

My Body is beat to %$%$%$%$ right now and am freakin But I will worry about that when winter comes.

Some charter tips for the new guys or someone just learning about live pogies, DO NOT run hard up to the school of bait, all you will do is put it down and then you get NO POGIES!!!! Stay away from the crowds as all they are doing is driving around in circles waching us put fish after fish over the rail. Watch the water, you will find the bait, find the bait and you will find the fish!!!!!!

We still have shared trips and private trips available if you want to get out there, we are gonna fish till they are gone, with the weather the way it is now we should have these fish for a few more weeks!!!!

NOW GO GET UM!!!!!!!! and have fun!!
