Who did you fish with
Well, in reading all the posts about "How many times..." and "Season's best..." I realized that I judged this year by the number of friends that I got to spend time with this year.
The list includes:
Marky, my old friend who has been gone for way too long, but is back in a very big way
Mikey
Bossman
Ross and his sidekick #^^^^&
TDF, Finaddict, doc, Rockport24 and the rest of the northshore crew
Tagga (freaking Troll)
Milo, with or without moonshine
The rest of the Cutty Crew: Larry, Tobias, Tlap, Zeno, Tburg, Rphud (the coach), Ludz, Josh, Canalman, Bob, Smokey, Paul.
Number one new friend is Rockbottom "Hemdukas" 37...you're not Gilly's boy, he's now your lucky cousin.
ThomT, a late addition.
And many more...I got a chance to spend lots of time with lost of really good fishermen and friends this year.
I don't really care about the fish.
Love,
Mr. Crab Claw Pipe

Slip, Don G, Don, Clamma, F18, my dad, and the most important and well-equipped fisherman of them all,
Fishweewee.
Only thing missing was Billy the Specialist.
Love you all,
Rick

Ditch Jigger - he's usually right about everything, but I can't help arguing with him.
Slipknot - fish,laugh,fish,laugh,fish,laugh......
Dave MacLeod - Sent by God to keep jig sellers in the black.

Ricky's list and add Fishpart, Steelhead, Matt/Rockport4, BrianS, Riverrat, Tobias' brother, Tlap, SnakeSlinger, SquidhoundJones, and Saltyric. I think that's everyone. Going on a trip with the Cutty crew allows you to fish with and get to really know a lot of folks!
btw, George is Rockbottom no more. He's high-graded his screen name....now Good2hook

my fishing pal is TaJon but other than that alone or with my cousin in law, who actually put in quite a bit of time this year. A spattering of other friends but no one who feels the itch like me... It's always a lesson when we go out which is absolutely fine because I enjoy watching friends that have not experienced this or who have only experienced fresh water, feel the pull of a good sized bass.
I think next year Im going to make a concerted effort to get out with more people. That's perhaps why I learn very slow. My antisocialism gets the best of me. I know there are alot of great guys up this area on the board so let this be an open invitation on my boat starting 5/15/08

I just joined this forum this season when I met fishaddict. Funny story-he was coming out of salt water edge when I was going in,hours later I meet him on the rocks 50 miles south. He's lugging a 22 pounder. Friendly guy - serious fisherman.

I fished with quite a few of the board members from here, can't remember all who I atleast ran into out there in the surf.
It's always a pleasure to fish with J Powers
and MikeP knows more about the ditch than I do so I usually pay close attention when fishing with him.
I fished with my son Danny quite a bit but not as much as I would have liked.
I fished Cutty in the fall with those guys.
I saw Mikey, his dad, LIfishinVT and ptmike quite a few times fishing out on the beach, always an adventure. Somehow I always seem to miss BBjake. Ran into flap and stifftip out there a couple times too.
I had a memorable trip with Moses, after fishing with the holy one what more is there? Thanks again Mike
Went out with Got Stripers too and fished pogies for my first time ever, I learned alot.
I made many trips to the water alone.
I didn't get a chance to fish with alot of guys that I wanted to. I never made it down to RI this year either
I did get to fish this year with my good friend NIB this year and got my best fish of the year finally breaking 30 pounds one of those nights He brings me his luck all the way from Jersey.

I think the person I fished the most with was my dad, with Marky close behind.
The people I always get to see on the otter Cape each year. Some I just get to make a few casts with, but others I see much more: Slipknot, PTMike, LIFishVt, BBJake, Jenn and Bruce, TattooBob, to name a few.
The crew from the Fall Cutty trip. That was a blast. Next year just add more fish and we have Utopia.
A few guys from here I see and fish with in Western MA during the Spring run up the CT River: Pete Lajoie, C-5 CC, and Dana.
Oh yeah, last but not least, Dr. Wiggles A.K.A. RickBomba.

I remember that night, talking to you for a few minutes before realizing I just saw you earlier that day. Then I told you about this site on advice/tips and stuff like that. As serious as I am about fishing, I always go out expecting to catch a good time and it seems like I catch more of a good time than I do fish.

i usually fish with squidhound, and a few close friends that aren't members here yet? and when i can't fish with them i fish alone, not by choice? i enjoyed fishing cuttyhunk with the "crew"...thanks for the kind words rick. feelings are definitely mutual my friend .... i knew we would bond for some reason. , it's like i've know you my whole life... your boy mark and your brother mikey are some funny bastages. i look forward to fishing with you guys in the spring. i wish i woulda did more fishing this year. it seems that it's never enough... but thanks to this site i met alot of very nice people and some i'd like to meet, everyone i would gladly call a friend, from slipknot, to tagger, nightfighter to luds48, milo to fishweewee, all classy people....i hope you guys have a safe and happy holiday season and a kick arse 2008..tight lines to you all
