Heart attack.....

A sad start to the New Year for my Son. Not yet 50 years old and he had heart attack on Friday night. His wife took him to the Newton Wellesley hospital with chest pains and he was vomiting. He was transfered to MGH immediately and was taken to their cardio section. They put two stents in and will go back in on Monday to have another repair job. His arteries are clogged solid and he is lucky to be alive. Hope they can help him to live a normal life after this event is done.

Doc has told him he will have to stop smoking and eat the right diet. He is a welder by trade and was not overweight, not a drinker. His only problem is a wife who doesn't cook. He ate all the wrong stuff for a long time. The only symptoms he had was heartburn for a long while before the attack. He didn't listen to the old man when I tried to get him to a doctor. His blockage is at the valves.

Say a prayer for him. He has a 8 year old daughter and a 16 year old stepson to take care of..Those who fish PI and are members of the MBBA know him as Jeff.
