Remember to go VOTE today

Yep, vote...

On the local Rhody front, at least both Govenor candidates are against the Quonsett Container Port - Hopefully that will DIE!

As far as how the 2 candidates would play for the typical Angler's needs? Not too much but both state that DEM is underfunded and needs money. Carcheri is against further gun laws and York wants to be like Mass...

Enforce the gun laws already on the books. We don't need more government we need less. Less Taxes, Less Government....

Instead of adding more legislation to promote more gun laws,
I have come up with a dynamic plan that would eliminate the need for more gun control legislation...

It's called:

P U N I S H C R I M I N A L S ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !...

Please take the opportunity to get out there and VOTE!...

Your vote counts!...

The responsible libertarian should vote for Romney. A vote for Howell is simply a vote for Shannon O'Brien who is essentially the walking antithesis of the liberarian values. please don't waste your vote this way - you are actually hurting what you want.

Remember that when you vote on a bond issue in Rhody, you're spending YOUR OWN MONEY. Don't buy something you don't really want...........................

My union is backing O'Brien, I think they both will do a horrible job. I despise Mitt. He's definately not worker friendly.

Steve...

My political inclinations fall closest to the Libertarian party, and I've voted there in the past. However, I can't stomach O'Brien, the expanse of Government she supports, and the certain tax raise that will come with her election. And a vote for Howell will just be one closer to that end. Mitt has run a company that fixed broken companies and sold them. He will make the state government smaller, cheaper, and more efficient. That isn't far off from the central tenets of the Libertarian party.

Brooksie...

In no way is Mitt bad for the worker. He will create jobs. Why do you despise him? One of his son's was one of my best friends in high school, and I can honestly say that the Romney's are some of the nicest, and most upstanding people you could meet.

Okay Don, didn't really want to discuss it here, but......

While I can see your point, and myself loathe the thought of Ms. O'Brien getting elected.......

Doesn't the fact that the race is so close tell you something? Like maybe there's not whole lot of difference in the two "major" (and I use that term loosely) candidates?

Perhaps if everyone that felt they were wasting their vote on the so-called "minor parties" in fact voted for them, perhaps one or more of them (God, no not the GREENS!) would garner 20 or 30 percent of the vote, and send a message not only to the republo-crats, but also to the media, which blacked out most of this to begin with.......

The only wasted vote is one for the lesser of two evils........or one not cast at all.....

I thought I ended the two party system today, when I wrote myself in against Kerry. I am so sick of the Democrats taking all of my money. If Joe K wants to keep the Illegal Haitian Immigrants here than let him pay for them.

If the democrats are so good for the working man, why did they vote for NAFTA?

Winner...

Looks like Don Carcieri won the election..

Myrth Lost by over 10% of the Vote,,
But don is a new face here in RI,, maybe he will do a good job...

i know you can't say WHO you voted for,,

But what do you all think of Carcieri winning?
Good? Bad ?

and your Comments?

I personally don't like Myrth York, for a High Number of Reasons, but that's another topic i will not open she is 8' tall and man-ish looking , but i guess looks don't make a diff, only how you run the state,, but i think it's great news that Carcieri won,, how about you guys?
