Herring Count

I'm volunteering some time in April to count herring going through the South River ladder. It's a short walk from my house so I figured the least I could do was put the time I spend down there to good use. I haven't seen anything the last couple of weeks though. If you're interested contact nsrwa.org. I know the Jones River Assoc is also looking for volunteers at the kingston ladder. How's the herring looking in other runs so far?

I'll count herring when I can get my 12 again.

I haven't seen any in Pembroke yet, but it won't be long.
