First striped ones of the season

Ok, so they aren't bass, but I was able to get my boat out today for
some trout fishing on one of my favorite lakes near me. Yesterday turned out to be a great day a little later in the afternoon. Felt great to be out again, it has been a long winter. These fish were both 14-16" and very feisty.

From what I understand, a lot of people are catching larger fish [12-16"] this year.

now mix some bread crumbs with crab meat and stuff the little beasts.. pop them in a 350 oven for 40 or so minutes, serve with fresh asparagas,a baked potato and a cold one... delish!
