I ended up with a few keepers. The bigger one was around 14#. Rumor has it a friend of a friend had 30# plus fish lost at his feet. All fish I saw taken were on pencils. And yes I did catch it on a canal special.

I caught my fish between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. Pete Lajoie, who gave me the heads up, had been catching keeper sized fish since dawn however. Thanks Pete! Feeling that toug was about the only thing that has put a smile on my face for the last few weeks. Well that and beer.
