Weekend Plans

I will start this weeks thread since my weekend will start early Friday morning.

Taking the camper out to get a decent spot in the 1.8 mile of open beach (closed after trail 2) at Sandy Neck for the first time this year. The Full Moon should end the Greenhead attacks so it might be a good weekend. Friday late the honey will arrive and I willl take the Explorer home and hook up the skiff as my engine difficulties are solved (bad oil up top) and I am a Sandy Neck Mosquito for the weekend.

If any of you Mosquito Fleet Members are out and about this weekend come down to the Neck and stop by for a coffee or soda, etc. Flap, Prof M,BM, Slip and any one else interested just cruise down the beach until you see all the campers in one small area...then look for the 14' Carolina Skiff on anchor in front of a Lance Camper on a two tone green and white ford. Of course, we always have munchies at the ready.

"It is impossible to complain and to achieve at the same time"--Basic Patrick (on a good day)

I've never gone left around the corner before, if I go Sunday and you are still there, maybe I will find ya.

I'll be taking my niece fishing at some point this weekend to teach her how to fish, other than that I'll be working.

Chasing pogies in the early mornings, but tides are not the most favorable. Morning and evening livelining, staying out of the hot sun... Pow wow with brother and sister on mother's future... sucks when the kids have to start taking over for the parent.
And my first physical in 17 years today... oh joy.

Hey P. I was there today with the family and the green heads were biting just fine. I forgot the fly swatter's, which is a must this time of the year for beaching. We usually have one for each of us. I did scope out my usual beach plum plants and they are loaded but just green at this point. I am done for this weekend as truck has to go in for repair as I flunked my sticker. Enjoy yourself as it will be a good weekend to be near the water. I will be hugging my AC all weekend.

Hey Rosco, beware of the rubber glove part

As for me, I walked down the Tems flyway last nite for the Hellenic Fest, but I didn't drink enough to dance and act like a Greek - oopa! I ate waaay too much, the food was excellent.

Gotta work Saturday and Sunday, might go on an expedition one nite after I get off. Got the A/C cranked for my pooches so my little buddies are happy and I got a dozen eels in the tub on ready standby.

And no, Mrs Crafty isn't giving me special dispensation on the eels - she's at her sister's in the Midwest for a week.

So....all you inquiring minds; got through that....but he thought my prostrate might be enlarged?!?! I thought he was gonna use a finger not a fist! Thought I was gonna splatter.......
Tests on that Monday, through blood work. Then schedule the colonoscopy......... But everything else was good, real good actually. Lungs clear, BP better than he expected too! Just gotta get this checked out despite no symptoms.
That is all I know.
