Shimano Lucanus Jigs

Has, anybody used these yet? I was looking at them, might be good when the squid are in the water.

I picked up a couple but have not put one in the water yet. The hooks seem a little lame to me but the jig is beautiful. I bet a fluke or or sea bass would nail it.

Well so far these have not caught me squat. I have been fishing these while my kids were pounding fluke with traditional gear. Maybe net trip I'll give it a go but so far I am not impressed. Truth be told, I did catch a skate with it...

I agree with Mr Sandman. I have fished them next to my traditional fluke rigs, and some new ones I made, so far not a thing on the Lucanas jigs.

I fished with the 'fluke killer' on this board, last week. When he said all you needed was a weight, a hook and a fluke belly, 167 lbs later proved him right, the next day he got 137 lbs the same setup. Don't nuttin cept what he said as long as it's a Gamie.
