Welcome to the club ! At least you know you're not alone. Couldn't fish over the weekend - winterize the boat + working on the yard

Yeah... but... We got a TON of rain down here in CT last night and I doubt it would be to good around here. (Usually is good when it's raining but not the day after - where I fish.)

Now... if tomorrow is nice out... then maybe I feel a cold comig on!

Good luck,
Rob

Rob - I can't think of any reason not to fish the day after heavy rains - except for storm over flow

Seriously - should not have a big impact and may even improve it...

It's more the weather like winds and such that will have a factor than just simply rain...

Hmmm... Good point about the winds -vs- just rain John.

I guess that the last few times it has rained hard here, it was with heavy winds and I didn't think about that. A result of being a newbie or, just plain ignorant!

In any event... I would much rather be out fishin' right now than typing this to you... from work!

Good luck,
Rob

Yeh - I'm typing this from work too...

It is the accompanying weather you need to worry about. Of course - it's pretty stinkin' windy out there right now

<Don't got to work, plus schools out = fishing!
I tried out R.I. Yacht Club, with SSX, not even a bite, no fisherman there, contrary to what I had heard by my dad's friend (I think they made a plan so that my dad didn't have to worry about dropping me off at Fox point)
I love Fox point, saw many people catch fish there so far, so what if the stripers have a purple film over there scales, there still there!!!
