York Beach Slaughter

I've been vacationing in York Beach ME.since Sat.& fishing for three day's now & my arms are killin me.There are more Schoolies than you can shake a pole @,the plus side to the fishing is it's also in full swing vacation mode which means you can fish any time you want and just crush the fish(small ones that is),the juvi macs are in thick and there hang out choice is back water estuaries & harbors my choice of bait has been Yo Zori Hydro tiger sardine and 2.0 oz.Cripple Herring Silver or blue mac pattern. The biggest fish was 38" 2" shy of a keepha better luck tommorow, the bass are in pretty thick with no signs of blues.

I'll be here till Saturday I hope bigger bass will move in closer.
I don't think I'll be weighin in any cow's for S-B Like Mike V. but hey IM on Vacation and havin fun!

Bob, great report. Have a blast. My brother is up there. I will tell him to look out for you. His girlfriend has a butterfly on her back and if she is in a bikini you cant miss it.

I wish the sun was out so I could check it outthe weather has been mostly overcast w/ rain storms prolly why the fishing has been good anytime of day.
I went this morning with small results I try and hit it again tonight.

Just got back from 2 weeks in the area. Came back Saturday. Up until that point fishing was poor from the beaches but good in the rivers and tidal rivers. I had a blast and it sounds like you did great! Thanks for the report.

I normally fish Longsands & Shortsands but never saw any birds working so I cut to the chase and went up stream to the Harbors and thats where I found the Mac's,birds and the bass just filling up after having my fill of bass when I left they still busting the topwater this was the best fishing I've had up there.

Glad to hear you were able to join in.
