LAst weekend outta salibsbury/newburyport a couple guys from my work went out and got a couple haddock each, sounded pretty slow.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Put out of Gloucester early sunday morning. We got into some decent size pollock, cusk and haddock to about 24inch in about 250 ft of water. Caught a nice wolf fish too. Overall though, it was pretty slow.

went on tuesday and had a great day. Good weather and lots of pollock. Probally hit or miss whether a school comes through, the capt. told the boat to switch to jigs and before it hit the bottumn A fish was on. My dad and I finished the day with a half dozen pollock and a few haddock, my arms still hurt.

Well since the weather was suspect early, the captain never really took us out of sight of land... granted - we were WAY out there, but you could always just make it out.

That being said.. I crushed on short cod.. Prolly caught at least 20 of them... all on jigs/teaser.... but noone in our party had a haddock (some were using clams) - no pollock.. and we managaed only 5 keeper cod out of all we caught...

The captain brought us into two swarms of redfish... which were fun at first then just a nusiance because bringing in a 16oz redfish on a 22oz jig 220 feet kinda sucks when happening in repetition.

The poolwinner was my uncle.. with an 8lb cod... which also kinda sucked.. but he still made his $$ back.. so cant complain too much
