Roof rod rack

Help Guys!
My younger brother just got a 1999 Cherokee, and he's been dogging me for a roof rod rack for Xmas. I've always used regular ski racks, but he will have none of this. My dad used to have one for our old Celica in the 70's, but he can't remember where he got it. I've got an idea how to make one, but no time...
Any suggestions.
Thanks,
Rick

Rick - there is the big rack from thesurfcaster.com - goes around $300 smackers but uses a modifired Ski rack

There is another site - something like racktops .com (but it's not)...

Otherwise, make one using Ski racks

or for locking racks (this is what I use) try

I use to have a fancy roof rack custom for rods on my old truck (sold it with the truck), it was nice and it looked good but...IMO a good ski rack works even better and is just as secure and it is lockable. I now use a Thule ski rack for rods in the summer and skis in the winter. The rack is not expensive and can mount on YOUR roof rack, (You don't need their bars) They have adapters for nearly every factory rack. I have a couple different trucks and 1 rack (two sets of adapters).
A ski outlet will have one for under 100 bucks that fits your rack.
If you are really hooked on getting a "rod" rack click here:
